WATER DAMAGE - HOW TO KNOW

Water and other liquid damage to your MacBook, iPad, iPhone, iPod and Apple Watch is not covered by Apple warranty. Also Service and repairs to MacBook, iPad, iPhone, iPod and Apple Watch is not covered by the Apple One-Year Limited Warranty.

An LCI will activate when your device has come in contact with water or other liquid such as tea, wine, beer, soft drinks, etc. Liquid Contact Indicators colour is normally white or silver. However, after contact with water or a liquid containing water, The LCI indicator colour will turn fully red. An LCI won’t activate because of humidity and temperature changes that are within the product’s environmental requirements.

Check the images below that corresponds to your Apple device to find out  if the LCI in your device has contacted liquid. If positive, all hope is not lost. Fortunately, we can come to your help! However, time is of essence here.
